Losing weight has opened my eyes to others things in my life that needed to be healthy. I'm currently working on the body I also decided its time to work on the insides as well as spiritually. I want to work on becoming the best me I can be. Realize what was done is the past is just that and I can not let it hold be back from the future. That also means getting rid of people in my life that I feel are toxic. On loving and embracing the new me I also decided to start fresh with regrowing my hair. I want to be healthy all the way around.

Holidays can be the hardest time to stay focused on your weight loss journey. You are surrounded by friends and family and loads of your favorite comfort foods. In cases like these, moderation has worked best for me. I would have a little bit of my favorite foods and drink tons of water and feel satisfied. This weekend things didn't go as I planned. First it started with I will just have a little bit more of this and by the end of the night I was still over eating. I enjoyed myself with my friends and family but I MUST get back on the ball. For 2 nights of fun I gained about 4 pounds. My goal this week It to workout a little bit extra and have my eating on POINT.

So many of us suffer from stretch marks. I got my stretch marks from rapid weight gain as in adolescent. They are on my stomach, lower back but mainly on my arms. I really disliked showing my arms growing up because they were extremely big and on top of that filled with stretch marks. Although I lost a significant amount of weight in my arms I still suffer from a huge amount of old white stretch marks. These type seems to be the hardest to fade. I have been using African Shea Butter and Vitamin E oil and it has helped some but there is no drastic difference. I was sent a product called Apothederm Stretch Mark Cream to try out for 8 weeks:
One thing about this product that instantly grabbed my attention is it says it works not only on new stretch marks but old ones as well. So I will be putting this product to the test and at the end of the 8 weeks I will post before and after pictures as well as an in-depth review on this product.
So many people say I make losing weight look easy but it far from that. I have spent close to 26 years with habits that got me to 341 pounds. Although Ive changed my habits for a year, it doesnt compare to the many years I spent being sedentary, overeating and not caring about being healthy. Every day is a struggle for me. Hopefully in the future it will become easier. In the mean time I will take it one day at a time. I don't want to ever forget where I came from and how hard it was to make it to where I am today. My goal is to tone up and lose another 20 pounds which will make 180 pounds lost. I will try to post daily about different things such as foods I ate for the day, exercises I did, my thoughts, products Im trying and much more. Stay tune and join me on this next stage in my weight loss journey.
